ARES Yachts has confirmed that SIMENA, its 62-metre flagship ketch, will appear at the Monaco Yacht Show (September 23-26). Her arrival at Port Hercule will place her among the largest sailing superyachts on display and among the most significant new launches of 2026 present at the show.
Designed by Istanbul-based Taka Yacht Design with interiors by Design Unlimited, SIMENA ranks among the 25 longest sailing superyachts worldwide.

The ketch rig with mainmast at 59 metres and mizzen at 48 metres carries a 470 sq m mainsail, a 249sqm mizzen, a 596sqm genoa, and a 356sqm staysail – all by Doyle. Under sail, SIMENA can reach 16 knots in 20 knots of wind at a 100-degree wind angle, as proven during her sea trials.
A flexible hybrid propulsion system underpins her bluewater credentials: a 220kW electric motor provides near-silent manoeuvring at up to 8 knots with a range of 6,000 nautical miles, while the MAN diesel engine extends performance to 14 knots and 4,000nm at 9 knots.
SIMENA's environmental credentials have been independently verified: she holds a 4-star 'superior' SEA Index rating, a certification developed by the Yacht Club de Monaco and UBS Group, verified by Lloyd's Register. And she has earned two nominations at the Explorer Awards by La Belle Classe Superyachts.

Interior and exterior alike draw from the same design language: a clipper bow, teak decks and varnished sipo mahogany in dialogue with contemporary proportions and marble in the guest bathrooms.
Six cabins accommodate up to 12 guests, led by a forward owner's suite. A cockpit arranged for dining up to 14, a fold-out six-square-metre swim platform and a sunken flybridge complete the picture on deck.
SIMENA is available for sale exclusively through Northrop & Johnson.
